We offer education settings the following opportunities:
Exciting and inspiring workshops or after-school clubs in art, creative writing, music and/or drama delivered by experienced artist practitioners who actively involve the children and young people.
Engaging bespoke longer projects that use art, creative writing and/or drama to explore a particular theme, like Remembrance or nature.
Primary and secondary aged pupils in Key stages 2 to 4.
We deliver sessions in school. We also invite school groups to other venues to watch performances or take part in workshops. Recent examples are The Nene Valley Wetlands Trust Visitor Centre at Rushden Lakes, St Mary's Church in Rushden, The Church of St George the Martyr in Wootton and Wytham Woods near Oxford.
Fabula Arts staff are a combination of educationalists and artists. Our background in teaching and leading departments means we can work with your staff to help them embed the creative arts successfully in the curriculum. We also work closely with theatre companies that can bring performances into your schools.
We apply for funding to cover many of our projects. Two recent projects that we delivered completely free to primary schools were our Snow Goose Remembrance project in 2021 and our Lost Words in the Woods project in 2022.

This is a community arts project for young people that shines a light on Remembrance.
The Snow Goose (by Paul Gallico) is a story of friendship and love set against the backdrop of the horror of war. Fabula Arts has devised a piece of theatre which we can perform at your school or in a community setting. Working alongside this, we offer creative arts workshops in art, drama and creative writing, which explore the themes of the play: war, Remembrance, heroism, the natural world and treatment of outsiders.
This project works well for KS2 or KS3.

We believe every child can grow through experiencing the works of Shakespeare. We also know, however, that sometimes there are barriers to overcome with young people.
Our Shakespeare workshops are designed to lift the words off the page and bring Shakespeare to life by maximising pupil involvement in the sessions.

We offer whole day workshops for PRIMARY and SECONDARY pupils in KEY STAGES 2 to 4 and we tailor work to fit specific groups.

Fabula Arts comes to your school to discuss your particular requirements with relevant staff. We can use an existing script or we can write a bespoke script designed for your group.
If necessary, Fabula Arts leads a drama workshop with your pupils in order to develop a relationship with them. This is especially important if we are devising a unique script for your school.
Fabula Arts brings practitioners to your school. They lead four days of workshops and rehearsals with your pupils to prepare them for their performance.
Fabula Arts practitioners lead run-throughs of the performance ahead of a performance for friends and family either at the end of the school day or in the evening.
